My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our 2 weeks at the UNDA hotel . The staff were polite , helpful and friendly . The room was modern and comfortable and very clean . The food was always delicious . The lovely green marble pool was clear and delightful to swim in .
Gern wieder.
Just arrived back from a week’s stay at Unda for October half term as a party of 6 (3 adults, 3 children (15, 13 & 4) over two rooms.
This hotel is a gem, everything is brand new, clean and most of all, relaxing. We arrived fairly late into Corfu so had arranged for a private transfer to the hotel which was well worth the 75 euro cost and we are at the hotel in under an hour.
Check in was effortless whilst luggage was taken to our rooms which were tastefully and comfortably furnished. Service from all of the staff throughout our stay was excellent and the hotel is small enough to make it feel personal and bespoke.
Food and drinks are of excellent quality, freshly prepared across breakfast, lunch and dinner. One of our children is neurodiverse and the chefs were very accommodating in responding to requests for specific foods for a very limited diet.
There is no daily or evening entertainment and we were slightly worried about that before we arrived but it actually turned out to be a real plus, just chilled family time playing games, chatting and sampling the great drinks menu.
Pool area is amazing with a fabulous pool with views across the med, poolside waiter service and a really chilled vibe. The hotel is around 15 min stroll into Roda which we did daily.
The only thing for the hotel to consider for improvement for us would be a small one - charging customers for additional coffee pods for the in room (over the 4 provided) nespresso machine seams odd in a hotel like this, to say the least.
Overall, this is one of the best weeks we have had in recent times, after usually opting for more family orientated resorts like Tui Sensatori. Unda is an excellent, well run hotel with great service in a beautiful part of Greece. We will be back.
Sauberes, angenehmes Hotel. Freundliches Personal und Top Roomservice.
Geschmacklich gute Verpflegung. Tolle Architektur und Ausstattung.
Uns fehlte es an nichts.
We had a lovely stay at Restia Suites—peaceful setting and truly outstanding staff who made us feel so welcome. The pool suite was private and relaxing, though it’s definitely looking a bit tired and could use a refresh. Overall, a great experience thanks to the brilliant team.
To far away from other bars & restaurants
Absolutely amazing. All staff are truly fabulous especially Christina- aka Mary Poppins - I think there were two of them!
Food was the better than any all inclusive we’ve experienced before.
Beautiful pool area.
We’d have enjoyed a little evening entertainment- just a little gentle live music as Kavos had little to offer us - it was however the end of the season.
Despite not knowing that Cabo took over the hotel I booked we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel had been given a complete refresh. It was clean, the food was fabulous and I cannot fault the staff. They were exceptional and that includes the restaurant, bar and cleaning staff.
Cabo is a lovely, small, and well renovated hotel, for adults only. The location is quiet, but Kavos is only about a 25 minute walk away if you want more action.
We are ladies of a certain age, and we went in October, when many of the other guests were around the same age. However, the hotel is clearly marketed to the younger "Love Island" age group, with a Deep House DJ, sofas on the lawns etc.
The renovation has been very tastefully done, and no expense has been spared - the furniture and beds are of good quality, and the rooms are well equipped with hairdryer, iron and ironing board, coffee maker and kettle and flat screen TV. A note here - Netflix is available, but it doesn't accept the cheapest Netflix subscription with adverts, so either upgrade your subscription before you go, or use a firestick for other apps like we did!
The food was very good - it's a small hotel of about 60 rooms, so obviously there isn't a huge choice like there might be at a bigger hotel, but there were always 5 or 6 options of main meals, and a great assortment of salads, cheeses, fruits and desserts, and everything was freshly made and good quality. Cocktails at the poolside bar were good, with indoor and outdoor seating.
The staff were without exception, excellent - always smiling and positive, and couldn't do enough to help, all managed by Christina - by the end of the week there we were made to feel like family!
We took an excursion to Corfu town one day - you can buy tickets next to the supermarket about 150 yards away from the hotel - transport was by minibus, dropping us at Corfu Town at about 12, and picking us up again at about 3.45, so plenty of time to lunch, shop and sight-see. Very good value for 15 euros per person and worth it to see more of the island.
It's hard to find anything to criticise about the Cabo Hotel - the only comments are that there could be clearer markings on the steps on the pathways and also in the pools, but this may be corrected by next year when they re-open.
We also would have been prepared to pay a supplement to get some different wines on occasion, so perhaps that is something the management could consider.
We travelled in October at the end of the season. so the atmosphere would probably be quite different in the height of Summer with a much younger crowd, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
This hotel is a couples retreat for sure! It's adults only and rightly so, however beware of you go with a pal as the shower door is see through ! So privacy is limited. With a significant other it's perfect
Service staff are super attentive and really bent to accommodate us. I managed to get a massage too and Katherina was amazing really hit the spot. We went out of season so it was quiet, a bit too quiet for us but we made it work.
My mum and I have just spent the past week at Cabo Corfu and honestly would say it was the best hotel we have stayed at. Being the last guests for the season meant the hotel was extremely quiet and we made a small community between the guests and staff, it was like a family and we have definitely made friends for life! We had a junior suite that overlooked the sea, the view was absolutely incredible and you can catch the sunrise every morning from bed. The room was clean and very well designed. The hotel itself is stunning, the aesthetic is beautiful and the design matched the stunning location. The pools are beautiful, we spent all our time at the ‘vibe’ pool which is definitely busier, but if you enjoy chilled house music and drinks flowing all day it is definitely the place to be. Small touches like fruit and drinks delivered to your sunbed each day were such a treat. All amenities including the gym are brand new and beautifully clean. The decking right by the ocean was great, and you can dip in the sea whenever you want. The staff make the place, every single person that works there from the bar and waiting staff, cleaners, cooks, hosts, are top notch, so kind and attentive and nothing is ever too much to ask. Shoutout to Dana she was a gem! We were super lucky with the weather, but I must say you get the sun from morning till evening on 99% of the beds. The food for an all inclusive is the BEST we have ever had, it is not like any food we have had at all inclusives before, it is fresh, seasoned, and greek! We never got bored of it despite only eating at the hotel all week. We absolutely would come again and I am definitely looking to book for next season. I am not sure how busy it would be here in peak season, but for October it is definitely definitely worth it.
The only small negatives about Cabo Corfu would be:
- No locks on the toilets (but if the door was closed that usually meant somebody was in there)
- A little restricted on branded alcohol
- Seeing that the hotel has only just opened, the landscaping did lack and there was a few rough spots (ie some walls and gardens weren’t finished)
- The location itself is dreary , the streets snd buildings are abandoned and tired but if you are not looking to leave it doesn’t really matter.
Thankyou so much for having us! We couldn’t have asked for a better trip.
My husband and I visited Cabo in August for a week’s relaxing getaway, and from the moment we arrived, we had the best experience. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, and you can tell that every little detail has been carefully thought out.
What really makes this place stand out though are the people who work there. The staff are incredible — they work so hard and genuinely care about making sure every guest feels welcome and looked after.
We also celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary during our stay, and when Kristina, the restaurant manager found out, she went above and beyond to make it special. She surprised us with fruit and wine delivered to our room, which was such a lovely touch and really made our day.
The food was always fresh and delicious, and the wine at dinner was great. The cocktails at the pool bar were amazing too — and the bar staff couldn’t do enough for you. They were always smiling, checking in, and making sure everyone was having a good time.
It’s honestly hard to find fault with this hotel, but it’s worth mentioning that during peak season, the vibe can be a mix between relaxing and lively, which might not suit everyone. My husband and I enjoyed the atmosphere most of the time, but there was one evening when the behaviour and language of a couple of guest groups made us feel uncomfortable visiting the pool bar area for an evening drink. Unfortunately, the inappropriate language and drunken behaviour continued into the upper pool area, where many guests were dining, which was disappointing.
That said, it was clear that the hotel staff were doing everything they could to manage the situation. They even offered us a transfer to their quieter sister hotel in Roda for the final two days of our stay — which turned out to be absolutely wonderful.
Overall, we couldn’t have been happier with our stay. I honestly don’t think I’ve ever met such a kind, friendly, and attentive team — they really made our trip extra special.
Thank you for everything!
Cabo - built this year - is quite simply an oasis of relaxation.
At the end of a seven-day break, you will often say "great holiday, but I'm ready to go home now.." Not this time, if we could have stayed on for another week, we wouldn't have hesitated, this place has such a wonderful atmosphere, we were gutted to be leaving !
There is something of a wow factor, on first arrival, which never really dissipates.
We had a Junior Suite with Sea View - and what a view (yes, another 'wow' !)
Powerful walk-in shower, mini-fridge and safe were all pluses.
Quality toiletries and towels - replaced daily (if needed).
Very high quality fixtures, fittings, swimming pools - everything. This place is new, but everything is built to last and will maintain the high standards.
The self-service restaurant always offered multiple options, we never felt there was anything other than an excellent choice of hot and cold dishes. So much so, that we didn't bother using the A La Carte Restaurant - we were totally happy to stick with the huge choice downstairs..
Breakfast options are effectively the same each day, but so many options that we felt we would never get bored, whether you want a full English or a bowl of Greek yoghurt with fresh fruit.
When out sunbathing, the staff periodically bring bowls of prepared fruit and cocktails.
Cocktails ?? A choice of around twenty, all on the A/I menu - we managed to work through most of them and all delicious and generous quantities of booze !
The whole experience is greatly enhanced by the incredibly friendly and obliging staff, for whom nothing is too much trouble. Their friendliness and obliging attitude doesn't feel remotely generic - you feel they are happy to be working at Cabo ?
Cristina (the Manager) is simply amazing - seemingly ever-present and getting stuck in to all tasks. She states that if the guests are happy, then she is happy ... she will be happy 99.9% of the time, as all that we chatted with were equally content.
Thankyou Cristina, and we will always remember you and the profiteroles & lemon meringue tarts that you set aside for me !
My only minor negatives are:
(1) The sense of Cabo being an oasis is enhanced by the not-so-attractive beachfront properties and Kavos Town. Such a sad sense of neglect and the waterfront almost overwhelmed by the (uncleared) seaweed..
However, the beach walk is still a good way to work off the endless all-inclusive food and drink, but concentrate on looking towards the Greek Mainland, rather than Kavos ?
By no means any criticism of the hotel, just be aware if you want a beach walk. This walk, from the hotel to the top of Kavos and back, takes about an hour and is (obviously) dead flat, so accessible to all.
(2) Totally personal and yes - I am a a bit of a music snob, but the 'Vibe' music at the lower pool became quite tiresome, with the endless & repetitive bass beat. However, I was aware in advance, so bought a pair of ear-pods at the airport and simply listened to my own (proper) music !
We were there, at the very end of the Season, so numbers of residents were relatively low. But this is quite a small, intimate hotel, so you get to know your fellow holiday-makers and actual feel a sense of community.
NOTE - We can't vouch for the 'Vibe' in peak season - a higher proportion of younger people may get a bit rowdy for some - but that may just be my age again ... !?
If you are considering booking (unfortunately it won't reopen until May now), then simply do NOT hesitate. Fantastic hotel, staff, ambience, food & drink
