My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our 2 weeks at the UNDA hotel . The staff were polite , helpful and friendly . The room was modern and comfortable and very clean . The food was always delicious . The lovely green marble pool was clear and delightful to swim in .
We were here at the end of the season, so to speak, and were initially a bit unsettled by the first reviews that came in. But as has always been mentioned in the context, the hotel is new and the team must find each other and I must say that when we were there they had found each other.
First, to the hotel itself. Everything is new and super thought out. Someone with sense and reason came up with a concept. Everything seemed coordinated with each other. Starting with the basic design of the whole facility, many elements were found on all corners. However, this overall concept did not end with pure equipment but also continued with the staff. Here, too, purely optical structures were already recognizable. A red thread was visible.
Furthermore, the location is just great. An infinity pool that visually gives the impression of swimming directly in the Mediterranean Sea. The location could not have been more beautiful, for peace and relaxation was so definitely taken care of. In addition to the actual rooms, there were some communal areas spread across the grounds that allowed everyone to search for and also find their own special area to relax in.
But let’s leave aesthetics alone and move on to the overall impression.
In short, staff, room, food, Mood everything was right. The staff was always friendly and accommodating. You also felt personally seen and you were not just a number. You could also say that the staff went beyond their mere duties and really tried to make guests' holidays as pleasant as possible.
You have also often seen in the interaction between the staff and guests with children how warmly the staff treats even the smallest guests. Everything we overheard in this context was super warm. And no matter how much to do, a small entertainment insert for the little guests was always included.
Maybe it also played into the fact that we were there at the end of the season and you also noticed a certain relief with the staff. Everyone seemed super loose and you can't mention enough how friendly everyone was.
The rooms were very tastefully decorated and modern. In this context, the housekeeping staff should also be singled out. Super discreet, you hardly noticed them when you were in the room, when they were there, but always super thoughtful for it. Little things that showed the commitment.
Now I come to what I think most interests me: The food. It was always of high quality and also very tasty, which my scales also acknowledged on return.
The food was generally a good mix of local specialties and international dishes. Whether breakfast, lunch or dinner, the physical well-being was always well and tastefully taken care of. The drinks selection was also good. Of course, there is a certain limitation there due to the all-in character, but this was not a shortcoming as we found, rather the opposite, according to the saying: “If you can do a lot, you can’t do anything right”
But even if a drink was not on the menu, the staff was always trying to fulfill all wishes, as far as it was in your power and there were then sometimes mixed one or the other cocktail that was just not on the menu. But I would also like to emphasize how tasteful the selection of drinks was. We lacked nothing at all.
The cocktails were just fantastic. This impression started right on arrival where we were greeted with a welcome cocktail that got us right into the holiday mood... it should be said that this cocktail was alcohol-free before evil tongues later claim it was purely because of it 😊
All this, rounded off with the Mood and a constantly discreet and tasteful musical background, have made this holiday an unforgettable experience for us.
For us it is definitely not out of the question to return to Unda.
After a very unhappy start when we found some issues with the initial cleaning of our room, our mood and tolerance not helped by an awful 2hr+ transfer journey with a disgraceful and dangerous coach multi person transfer provided by Suntransfers.com through Inspired Luxury Escapes who just dropped us off in pitch black pouring rain .5 mile from the hotel, we had a lovely time at the Unda hotel in room 6009 with its own private swimming pool attached.
Following our Initial issues which the management acknowledged and sincerely apologised for our room was kept spotlessly clean with towels and beds being changed, it seemed, daily and tea and fresh milk being supplied daily.
Of particular note was the huge comfortable bed and the superb double shower that had 2 overhead shower heads and 2 handheld showers with fabulous pressure and plenty of piping hot water.
Our private pool was crystal clear and both it and our patio was cleaned every day. Similarly, the whole hotel site was kept exceptionally clean.
Unusually, for us, we booked ‘all inclusive’ and were delighted with the whole package. We are not huge eaters or drinkers, but we do like our food and alcoholic drinks to be of the highest quality which is why we normally shy away from all inclusive which we have previously found to be just awful. Not the case at Unda. From the great selection available at breakfast (including a very welcome selection of fresh fruit and real orange juice) through to dinner and finally drinks after dinner everything was top quality.
A major plus for us was the staff. Without exception they were all superb. Happy cheerful, very hard working, diligent and willing to do anything to make our stay enjoyable and memorable. Our sincere thanks to them all.
Would we stay again, probably not because we don’t think we will be visiting Corfu again but if we were it would have to be Unda.
Gern wieder.
Just arrived back from a week’s stay at Unda for October half term as a party of 6 (3 adults, 3 children (15, 13 & 4) over two rooms.
This hotel is a gem, everything is brand new, clean and most of all, relaxing. We arrived fairly late into Corfu so had arranged for a private transfer to the hotel which was well worth the 75 euro cost and we are at the hotel in under an hour.
Check in was effortless whilst luggage was taken to our rooms which were tastefully and comfortably furnished. Service from all of the staff throughout our stay was excellent and the hotel is small enough to make it feel personal and bespoke.
Food and drinks are of excellent quality, freshly prepared across breakfast, lunch and dinner. One of our children is neurodiverse and the chefs were very accommodating in responding to requests for specific foods for a very limited diet.
There is no daily or evening entertainment and we were slightly worried about that before we arrived but it actually turned out to be a real plus, just chilled family time playing games, chatting and sampling the great drinks menu.
Pool area is amazing with a fabulous pool with views across the med, poolside waiter service and a really chilled vibe. The hotel is around 15 min stroll into Roda which we did daily.
The only thing for the hotel to consider for improvement for us would be a small one - charging customers for additional coffee pods for the in room (over the 4 provided) nespresso machine seams odd in a hotel like this, to say the least.
Overall, this is one of the best weeks we have had in recent times, after usually opting for more family orientated resorts like Tui Sensatori. Unda is an excellent, well run hotel with great service in a beautiful part of Greece. We will be back.
We had a lovely stay at Restia Suites—peaceful setting and truly outstanding staff who made us feel so welcome. The pool suite was private and relaxing, though it’s definitely looking a bit tired and could use a refresh. Overall, a great experience thanks to the brilliant team.
No screaming kids, no busy crowds—just adults enjoying the finer things. Cabo had that perfect balance of social and serene. Whether we were chatting by the pool or enjoying a private dinner, it always felt calm and curated. This is how an adult-only resort should be. Bravo!
Cabo isn’t just beautiful, it’s run by people who really care. Every request we made was handled quickly and with a smile. They remembered our drink orders, helped with special dietary needs, and even sent champagne to our room on our last night. The little things added up to a big impression.
What made Cabo special wasn’t just the look of the place—it was the mood. Chill house music during the day, ambient lighting at night, and a DJ who knew how to read the room. It felt like a private beach club without the pretentiousness. We danced, we relaxed, we fell in love with the vibe.
Beautiful location. Stunning views from the infinity pool. Great vibe with the DJ in the afternoon, but very quiet at night. The junior suite room was beautiful and the view was outstanding.
We found this hotel to be great value for money. The food was of decent quality, but perhaps a little repetitive. The orange juice served at breakfast was more like squash and could do with being upgraded, but food overall was excellent. We visited the a la Carte rooftop restaurant which was included in the All Inclusive. The food was delicious and the views were to die for. The whole hotel was spotless. The service was excellent and all staff were friendly and helpful.
Kavos is the main resort nearby, which is a bit run down and was closed for the season when we were there, with only a few bars and restaurants still open. However, we enjoyed a night out there to watch some football.
I would recommend this hotel for couples or groups of friends, wanting a chilled out relaxing time in gorgeous surroundings.
If you're looking for sleek, grown-up luxury, Cabo is it. Everything felt premium—from the sheets to the cocktails. We spent afternoons lounging in the Bali beds and evenings chatting with staff who gave us excellent local tips. The value for what you get is unbeatable. Will absolutely return next year.
Absolutely amazing. All staff are truly fabulous especially Christina- aka Mary Poppins - I think there were two of them!
Food was the better than any all inclusive we’ve experienced before.
Beautiful pool area.
We’d have enjoyed a little evening entertainment- just a little gentle live music as Kavos had little to offer us - it was however the end of the season.
Despite not knowing that Cabo took over the hotel I booked we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel had been given a complete refresh. It was clean, the food was fabulous and I cannot fault the staff. They were exceptional and that includes the restaurant, bar and cleaning staff.
